Hi,

my name is Mirek Kučera. I was born in Prague in 2014 and I live in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. My biggest hobby is K-pop.

I started dancing when I was five years old. I discovered K-pop thanks to the dance video game Just Dance and YouTube. The very first songs I learned were Boombayah by BLACKPINK and Black Mamba by aespa.

There is no dance school in my town or the surrounding area that teaches K-pop, but that doesn’t bother me — I train and learn everything by myself at home. I spend all my free time practising and trying to improve.

At the age of ten, I took part in my very first two contests (K-pop Mania Contest and the K-pop National Dance Contest of the Czech Republic), where I achieved 2nd place in both. In 2026, I won 1st place for the first time at the K-pop National Dance Contest of the Czech Republic with the choreography “I’m Ready” by CHUNG HA.

Apart from dancing, I also love Korean food and I’m trying to learn Korean (so far just through Duolingo). 😉

One day I would really love to visit South Korea. However, my biggest dream is to represent the Czech Republic at the world K-pop dance competition that takes place every year in Changwon, South Korea.
